About Protagonist Music We are an independent record label, started in January 2007. We are just two people, Bill and Brendan. We do all the packaging, shipping, orders, ads, organization, and general shitwork...as well as put up all the money, to make this little project fly. We've also gotten tremendous help with all things digital from our good friend Tom Schlatter. With this label, we aim to bring you an assortment of great releases, in multiple formats, from excellent bands. It's our way of giving back to a scene that we've been involved with for years, and a chance to show our support for the efforts of the musicians and artists we work with... Working with independent bands and artists from all over the USA, as well as Sweden, France, Portugal, and Germany so far, we are always looking to be involved with projects that embody the spirit of and energy of the underground music scene. Each release is the result of a partnership between us here at the label, and the musicians who put their passion and creativity into their songs. No industry garbage here, just a love for, and from, all involved.
